The Henry Luce Foundation for American Art has awarded a $250,000 grant to the Journal of the Association of Historians of American Art, a peer-reviewed online journal that has been publishing for a decade, the New York Times reports.
"Panorama has benefited from the sustained support of the Henry Luce Foundation, and we are thrilled to receive such a significant grant at a critical moment in our history," co-executive editor Keri Watson says in a press release.
The foundation was the first to support the journal with a start-up grant in 2012, and since then it has provided grants totaling more than $1 million.
The Luce Foundation's mission is "to deepen knowledge and understanding in pursuit of a more democratic and just world," according to its website.
